Match 1
High Speed Grand Prix Round Robin Match
Leyla Hirsch (4 pts – 2:0:0) vs DEATH Yama-san (2 pts – 1:1:0)
(referee: Duke Sado)

Show/Hide Results

Result: DEATH Yama-san wins via pinfall with an Oklahoma roll
Time: 1:49

Match Thoughts
This was a short yet fun opening match. Hirsch didn’t take Yama-san too seriously at first, but they had some nice chain wrestling to start the match. Yama-san then went into her comedy shtick, and that caused Hirsch to drop her guard again which led to a quick finish.

Match 2
High Speed Grand Prix Round Robin Match
Zoey Skye (0 pts – 0:0:0) vs Starlight Kid (0 pts – 0:2:0)
(referee: Duke Sado)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Starlight Kid wins via pinfall with a roll-up out of the corner
Time: 4:24

Match Thoughts
Good match. This was fast-paced as expected, and there was a nice combination of strikes and attempts and pinning predicaments. I particularly enjoyed the unique roll-up out of the corner that ended the match.

Match 3
Natsu Sumire vs AZM vs Jungle Kyona
(referee: Duke Sado)

Show/Hide Results

Result: AZM pins Natsu Sumire with Azumi Sushi
Time: 6:09

Match Thoughts
This was a fun match with a slightly comedic style. AZM started the match by calling out Kyona, but Sumire stopped everything when she started complaining about AZM. After a few seconds, AZM pushed past Sumire and attacked Kyona anyway, and that turned the match into what was mostly Kyona and Sumire versus AZM. Kyona and Sumire did attack each other from time to time, but this was mostly about AZM showing how smart and quick she is in a match like this.

Match 4
Itsuki Hoshino & Saya Kamitani vs Konami & Hana Kimura
(referee: Duke Sado)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Konami pins Itsuki Hoshino with a modified fisherman suplex
Time: 9:31

Match Thoughts
Good match. I think the main idea here was showing Hoshino’s fighting spirit. Hoshino started the match with Konami and unleashed a series of dropkicks, but Konami was fairly quick to shut Hoshino down. Konami and Kimura then proceeded to take their time beating up Hoshino for the next few minutes. Kimura really seemed to enjoy beating up Hoshino and posing, but a quick flurry from Hoshino allowed her enough space to tag in Kamitani. Kamitani did pretty well for herself, but she had to tag out rather quickly, so Hoshino once again fought hard and even came up with a few pin attempts. The match ended like it started, with Hoshino facing Konami. I liked this, and I really liked what it did for Hoshino. She was the biggest underdog in the match, and even though she got beat up a lot, we got to see her strength and character.

Match 5
Leo Onozaki & Utami Hayashishita (Future Champ) & Momo Watanabe vs Maika & Syuri & Giulia (Artist of Stardom Champs)
(referee: Daichi Murayama)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Syuri submits Leo Onozaki with a scorpion deathlock
Time: 12:58

Match Thoughts
Good match. I’m really liking Donna del Mondo as a team. I’m also really liking what looks like two solid singles matches they’re setting up against Queen’s Quest. Syuri and Momo Watanbe fought a lot in this match, as did Maika and Utami Hayashishita. Hopefully those singles matches will happen at some point, but tonight was a good trios match. Leo Onozaki was obviously the weak link here, so it’s not much of a surprise that she ended up starting and finishing the match, but Onozaki did hold her own against multiple members of Donna del Mondo. This was a solid match all around, and it really served to solidify Donna del Mondo’s hold on the Artist of Stardom titles.

Match 6
Saki Kashima & Tora Natsuko & Jamie Hayter (SWA & Goddess Champ) & Bea Priestley (Goddess Champ) vs Saya Iida & Tam Nakano & Arisa Hoshiki (Wonder Champ) & Mayu Iwatani (World Champ)
(referee: Daichi Murayama)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tora Natsuko pins Saya Iida after a guillotine leg drop
Time: 15:51

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Saki Kashima really wanted to fight Mayu Iwatani (she wants a singles match at some point), so Kashima grabbed Iwatani by the hair to start this match. Oedo Tai quickly took the fight to the floor to gain an advantage that they rarely gave up throughout the entire match. Arisa Hoshiki had a strong solo performance, and Stars did well when they all worked together, but Oedo Tai was dominant tonight. Tora Natsuko focused on Hoshiki a lot, so it looks like Natsuko might by vying for a Wonder of Stardom title shot. Also, Hayter and Priestley had some good tag team continuity throughout the match. All in all, this was a good match for Oedo Tai.

Ring Area
After the match, Oedo Tai manages to single out Mayu Iwatani. Iwatani gets beat up for a while, then Saki Kashima again demands a singles match from Iwatani. Iwatani laughs.

Tora Natsuko then hits Arisa Hoshiki with a Samoan drop before demanding a Wonder of Stardom title match. Iwatani leaves then ring area. Hoshiki shoves the Wonder title in Natsuko’s face before leaving the ring area as well. Natsuko then leads Oedo Tai in the closing of the show.

Show Impressions
This was a good show. Nothing felt super important, but the matches were fun. There was also a bit of setup going on, so that made the show worth watching.

Match of the Night
Oedo Tai vs Stars (main event)
The matches got progressively better as the night went on, so this was probably the best match of the night (though the three-way fight was a lot of fun as well). It was a bit chaotic and there was a lot going on. I liked it.
