The first Smackdown of 2016 and the first Smackdown on USA featured two title matches and had a pretty important feeling. It started off the year of Smackdown right with some good action, fun moments, and promising developments.
The last WWE show of the year and the last Smackdown on the SyFy channel brought some entertaining matches that didn’t mean much for stories, but were a pretty good diversion.
The last RAW of 2015 saw the much-needed return of John Cena. Did he help make the show a memorable one? Also, the Rumble starts on this show, Reigns continues to stand around while stuff happens, and Kofi wants to fight children.
Swagger and The Miz highlight this episode with one of the better Main Event matches in recent memory.
The 2015 Slammy Awards are given out in a fairly entertaining show even if it was a little disappointing for a few reasons.
RAW starts early with a pre-show from inside the venue and some Slammy Awards are given out.
In the aftermath of TLC, some dumb, dumb decisions were made by some people in power. But there was also a bit of nostalgia for the city of Philadelphia and some furthering of rivalries. Clearly, TLC did nothing to settle anything.
As the last RAW before TLC, did this upside-down show at least maintain interest in the PPV?
What was started on RAW continues on Smackdown with Sheamus’ League of Nations and a gimmick-filled, overstuffed main event story line.
Some good matches make this edition of Main Event a show worth watching.

This week’s episode includes Adam Rose versus R-Truth and The Miz versus Zack Ryder in an okay, but unremarkable show.
The Survivor Series Kickoff saw the first of two traditional elimination matches for the night, and the return of a long-time superstar!
With a surprisingly strong Miz TV to start the show but some unfortunately short matches, this Smackdown is a pretty good, but not fantastic, lead in to Survivor Series.
The Real American’s get shown a little love on Valentine’s Day as Swagger gets a shot to be the #1 Contender for the IC Title and Cesaro goes one on one in a non-title match with WWE World Heavyweight Champ Randy Orton.
