Ring Area
William Regal heads to the ring. He begins to talk about his investigation into Aleister Black’s attack when the Undisputed Era quickly interrupts.

Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly are tired of Regal not doing his job. Regal has been looking into Black’s attack, but Regal is creating an unsafe work environment by doing nothing about the War Raiders and their recent attacks.

Regal thinks it’s interesting that every time Regal tries to talk about Black’s attack, the Undisputed Era interrupts. Cole accuses Regal of trying to change the subject. On top of that, Cole is tired of Real doing nothing about Ricochet ducking him. Cole wants a North American Title rematch, and he wants it now. Regal says Cole never asked for a rematch, and he was happy to let Pete Dunne soften Ricochet up. So Cole will not get his rematch right now. He will get his rematch in two weeks in a triple threat with Ricochet and Pete Dunne. Also, Strong and O’Reilly will defend their tag titles against in three weeks against the War Raiders.

Outside the Venue
Earlier today, Johnny Gargano said he’s excited to get back in the ring soon. He also said he’s seeing clear for the first time in a long time.

Match Thoughts
This was certainly headed towards a squash before the match was interrupted.

EC3 continues his attack on Sullivan after the match. EC3 gets the better of a short brawl, and Sullivan backs away up the ramp.

Backstage
William Regal is walking backstage when Nikki Cross emerges from his office. Cross says she wants to play with Bianca Belair again, and she also repeats “I know.” Regal will consider a rematch for Cross and Belair, and he wonders what Cross knows.

Match 2
The Mighty vs Street Profits
(referee: Darryl Sharma)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Shane Thorne pins Montez Ford with a figure four jackknife cover
Time: 7:40

Match Thoughts
Very good match. I like seeing the Street Profits fight angry. They took the fight to The Mighty and looked great doing it. Ford really stood out, displaying his agility as he took on both members of The Mighty at different points in the match. I enjoyed the final sequence to this match a lot. Ford had gotten into trouble because of Thorne working on his leg, and Ford was struggling to try to tag Dawkins. They built up the tag for a long time, and the finish involved smart tag wrestling and denying what what usually be a hot tag in almost any other match.

Match 3
Vanessa Borne vs Kairi Sane (NXT Women’s Champ)
(referee: DA Brewer)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Kairi Sane wins via pinfall after the Insane Elbow
Time: 3:05

Match Thoughts
It wasn’t quite a squash, but it was definitely a showcase match for Kairi. As such, Kairi looked good.

Ring Area
After the match, Shayna Baszler heads to the ring. Baszler tells Sane to celebrate with her title while she can, because her time as champ is about to run out. Baszler is invoking her rematch clause. Sane says Baszler can have her rematch at WWE Evolution where Sane will beat Baszler again.

Backstage
Tucker Knight helps Otis Dozovic prepare for his match. Tommaso Ciampa prepares with the NXT Title.

Backstage
Keith Lee is happy with himself for being undefeated in NXT, and he’s looking for gold. Lee walks in on Kona Reeves complaining about something. Reeves isn’t pleased that Lee interrupted him while he was getting his hair done. Lee doesn’t like being talked down to, so he invites Reeves to bask in his glory in the ring.

Match 4
Otis Dozovic vs Tommaso Ciampa (NXT Champ)
(referee: Jessika Carr)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tommaso Ciampa wins via pinfall after a draping DDT
Time: 9:38

Match Thoughts
Very good match. I think this was a great example of having one guy get dominated for a large part of the match but still come back believably with just a few moves. Dozovic was surprising in how good he looked against Ciampa. For a while, he took over and was throwing Ciampa all over the place. Ciampa had a difficult time dealing with Dozovic’s size, but he was able to hit a number of brutal looking strikes and moves that took a lot of the fight out of Dozovic at times. The final sequences to the match were great.

Show Impressions
This was a good show. It set up some exciting matches for the next few weeks, and it had two highly entertaining matches tonight.

Match of the Night
Otis Dozovic vs Tommaso Ciampa
As much as I liked The Mighty vs Street Profits, I think the main event was a batter match. But only slightly.
