Match 1
Coffey Brothers w/ Wolfgang vs Raul Mendoza & Humberto Carrillo
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Joe Coffey pins Raul Mendoza after All the Best for the Bells
Time: 5:34

Match Thoughts
Good match. It was nice to see Mendoza and Carrillo teamed up again. They had good teamwork, but their attacks didn’t seem to cause much damage to the Coffey brothers. It took a while for Joe and Mark to catch their faster opponents, but once they did it was pretty much all over.

Backstage
Kassius Ohno says things haven’t gone perfectly for him in NXT UK, but he wil not waver from his goal of showing true European wrestling to the world. He mentions Ligero boasting about performing multiple times over a short period of time, but Ohno says he is quality over quantity.

Video
NXT and NXT UK superstars talk about Pete Dunne and Walter and what they think about a possible rematch.

Match 2
Kona Reeves vs Dave Mastiff
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dave Mastiff wins via pinfall after a running cannonball on the corner
Time: 4:36

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. It was very one-sided, but it’s fun watching Mastiff beat people up.

Selfie Promo
Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews are excited to be in New York, and they’re excited to possibly be the first Welsh tag champs in WWE history.

Backstage
Radzi congratulates Dave Mastiff on his win and being a strong man. Wolfgang walks up and says Mastiff isn’t as him. The two men argue but are held apart by refs and officials.

Match 3
Kacy Catanzaro vs Rhea Ripley
(referee: Tom Castor)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Rhea Ripley wins via pinfall after Riptide
Time: 3:19

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. It was short and entirely predictable, but it was done well. Catanzaro had speed, but Ripley had power and experience.

Ring Area
After the match, Ripley attacks Catanzaro. Ripley throws Catanzaro down to the mat and leaves the ring.

Backstage
While Kacy Catanzaro is sitting in the medical area, Rhea Ripley walks up and tells her that this is what happens when you enter Rhea’s division. As she speaks, Piper Niven walks up. Rhea walks away, and Piper comforts Kacy.

Backstage
Someone tries to get a word from Jinny, but Jinny says nothing.

Match 4
Grizzled Young Veterans (NXT UK Tag Champs) vs Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan win via count out when Gibson and Drake walk away
Time: 10:32

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. Jordan and Williams looked good against the champs, but Gibson and Drake did everything they could to avoid them. The finish was less than satisfactory (on purpose), but it will probably lead to another match.

Video
What’s next for Pete Dunne? Dunne says he won’t walk away from the title. He knows what to expect from Walter now, and he wants a rematch.

Show Impressions
This was a pretty good show. The matches were fine, but ultimately they all feel fairly inconsequential.

Match of the Night
Coffey Brothers vs Carrillo & Mendoza
If not for its finish, the main event was probably the best match of the night. But the finish did leave me feeling unsatisfied, so the opening match of the night ended up being the best.
