Match 1
Mark Andrews vs Joseph Conners
(referee: Darryl Sharma)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Mark Andrews wins via pinfall after Fall to Pieces (shooting star press)
Time: 6:09

Match Thoughts
Good match. Conners dominated early, but that allowed Andrews to build a comeback with his speed and flying. This was fun.

Backstage
Imperium gets Wlater ready for his title defense.

Outside the Venue
The Hunt is angry. Dave Mastiff walks up and asks Wild Boar and Primate if they’re going to let Gallus do whatever they want to them. The Hunt yells a lot and walks away with Mastiff, presumably to battle Gallus.

Ring Area
The Grizzled Young Veterans come out to the stage. Zack Gibson doesn’t appreciate being dragged to a muddy field by Johnny Saint. He also thinks the people in the crowd stink. Gibson goes on, saying that none of the things he’s heard at the Download Festival can be called music. Gibson and Drake doesn’t want to be here, but they are being forced to defend their titles against Moustache Mountain. Until that time though, they will go back to their five-star hotel and wait.

Video
A look at the feud between Piper Niven and Rhea Ripley.

Match 2
Killer Kelly vs Xia Brookside
(referee: ?)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Xia Brookside wins via pinfall after a double knee facebreaker
Time: 3:15

Match Thoughts
Good match. It was short, but it was enjoyable. Kelly dominated Brookside for the first part of the match. Brookside started making a comeback, but Jinny and Jazzy Gabert came out to the stage and distracted Brookside. It didn’t really seem to phase Brookside though, so shenanigans were avoided.

Backstage
Toni Storm wonders if Kay Lee Ray is all talk.

Match 3
Noam Dar vs Ligero
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Ligero wins via pinfall with a wheelbarrow victory roll
Time: 8:58

Match Thoughts
Good match. Dar frustrated Ligero for much of the first part of the match, but Ligero came back with some great moves including a thunderous kick. Kenny Williams came down to ringside partway through the match, and he just sat in a chair and watched. Late in the match, Dar faked a knee injury as a way to distract the ref and get Williams to hand him the chair, but Williams refused, causing Dar to get distracted instead. The shenanigans didn’t really make a lot of sense, but it worked well enough for the story and for this match.

Match 4
WWE United Kingdom Title Match
Travis Banks vs Walter (UK Champ)
(referee: Joel Allen)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Walter wins via pinfall after a powerbomb
Time: 8:51

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Travis Banks was able to use his speed and strikes to keep Walter away for a while, but Walter punished Banks once he got hold of him. This was a very good little guy/big guy match. The finish was definitive, but Banks showed once again that he can be a contender.

Show Impressions
I liked this show. There were a lot of story elements, the wrestling was good, and the main event was very good.

Match of the Night
Travis Banks vs Walter
Hopefully Banks will get another shot at some point, but I think Walter is going to dominate for a long time.
