Intro Video
“Are You Ready” by AC/DC

Ring Area
Roman Reigns heads to the ring. He wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving. To Reigns, Thanksgiving means, family, good health, and happiness. Last year was tough, but being in the ring with good health and new family this year is a blessing. Reigns is also happy that SmackDown won the traditional Survivor Series match (in which he was the sole survivor). Reigns thanks his teammates Ali, Shorty G, and Braun Strowman. He doesn’t thank the one dummy on the team: Baron Corbin.

Reigns calls out the dummy, and King Corbin emerges from the back. Corbin says it was his fearless leadership that won the elimination match. Corbin says Reigns was just jealous of Corbin, and that’s why Reigns attacked him during the match. Corbin talks about being a king and insults the crowd in Alabama. Reigns wants a fight, but Corbin doesn’t. Instead, Corbin brings out Robert Roode to fight Reigns.

Result: Roman Reigns wins via pinfall after a spear
Time: 10:51 (1 break)

Match Thoughts
This was fine. It was three on one against Reigns, but Reigns persevered. Pretty typical stuff.

Ring Area
After the match, Ziggler attacks Reigns. Reigns fights off Ziggler, then Corbin attacks. Reigns fights off Corbin, then Roode attacks with Corbin’s scepter. That puts Reigns down. Roode tries to bust Reigns’ head open by using the scepter with Reigns’ head on a steel chair, but Reigns gets away. Reigns beats up Roode at ringside and buries him under some chairs and stuff. Reigns then swings the ring steps into Ziggler, sending Ziggler over the barricade and into the crowd. Reigns then finishes burying Roode by dumping the announce table over on top of him. Corbin watches all this happen from the ramp.

Video
Clips and images from the Universal Title match between Daniel Bryan and The Fiend at Survivor Series.

Firefly Fun House
Bray Wyatt is happy that he still has the Universal Title, but if he has one, then it’s only fair that The Fiend has one too. We see clips of The Fiend holding a title belt with his own face on it. Wyatt also offers Daniel Bryan another chance to “play.”

Backstage
In a red hallway, Sheamus says the current state of SmackDown is pathetic. SmackDown has gotten soft, so Sheamus has returned to take over.

Match 2
Mustafa Ali vs Drew Gulak
(referee: Charles Robinson)

Result: Mustafa Ali wins via pinfall after a 450 splash
Time: 3:10

Match Thoughts
This was good, but it was very short. This seemed like a showcase match for Ali. I liked it, but I’ve seen these two men have great matches. This short match couldn’t compare to pretty much any of their previous battles.

Backstage
Sasha Banks and Bayley look angry as they walk.

Backstage
Heavy Machinery sell merchandise from the WWE shop.

Backstage
Daniel Bryan paces.

Ring Area
Sasha Banks and Bayley head to the ring. Banks makes excuses for losing at Survivor Series. Bayley is sick because the locker room let her and Sasha down. Sasha runs down all of her teammates, saying they’re all terrible.

Lacey Evans comes out and heads to the ring. Evans talks about Thanksgiving dinner. She also thinks a “real woman” should be the locker room leader. Evans gets in Bayley’s face, Sasha tells Evans to back off, then Evans punches Sasha. Bayley watches as Evans leaves the ring.

Backstage
Kayla Braxton asks Daniel Bryan if he wants to accept Bray Wyatt’s challenge for another match. Before he can answer, the Firefly Fun House appears on the screen.

Firefly Fun House
Huskus the Pig Boy is overstuffed from Thanksgiving dinner. Bray Wyatt tells Huskus about the true story of Thanksgiving and how it started as a meal between the Muscle Men and the Reptilians. Wyatt tells Huskus that he can eat as much as he wants, because he can always change.

Backstage
Daniel Bryan watches as Wyatt and Huskus do a Muscle Man Dance music video. After the video, Braxton is still waiting for an answer from Bryan about taking on Wyatt again. The crowd chants “yes,” but Bryan doesn’t say anything.

Match 3
Sonya Deville w/ Mandy Rose vs Nikki Cross
(referee: Danilo Anfibio)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Nikki Cross wins via pinfall with a small package
Time: 1:39

Match Thoughts
This was barely a match. It was just an excuse for the post-match activities.

Ring Area
After the match, Rose and Deville beat up Cross. After a second or two, Alexa Bliss runs to the ring and clears Rose and Deville from the ring. Bliss and Cross hug.

Backstage
The Miz tells Daniel Bryan that he’s concerned about Bryan and his dealings with The Fiend. Is it worth fighting The Fiend again if he’s going to come away changed like Finn Balor and Seth Rollins? Bryan gives Miz a dirty look, so Miz walks away.

Backstage
Drake Maverick tries to kiss Dana Brooke by using mistletoe. Dana refuses Drake’s advances and wonders why he’s doing this if he’s married. Drake says it’s complicated.

From behind, Elias walks up and sings a song about Drake’s wife finding out about him trying to kiss Dana Brooke.

Ring Area
Kofi Kingston and Big E head to the ring. Big E talks about Black Friday, a day when your dreams can come true. For that reason, New Day is issuing an open challenge for the SmackDown tag titles.

Sami Zayn leads Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro out to the stage. Zayn is sickened by New Day glamorizing Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Nakamura and Cesaro are here to teach New Day lesson and to take away their tag titles.

Match 4
SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura (IC Champ) w/ Sami Zayn vs Big E & Kofi Kingston (SD Tag Champs)
(referee: Jason Ayers)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Kofi Kingston pins Cesaro after Trouble in Paradise
Time: 8:22 (1 break)

Match Thoughts
Good match. The finish involved some unnecessary distractions and excuses for the loser, but the action up to that point was fun.

Backstage
Daniel Bryan thinks as he walks.

Ring Area
Daniel Bryan heads to the ring. Bryan talks about being nervous before his match with The Fiend. Bryan says he was changed during the match, but he wasn’t changed because of The Fiend. He was changed because of the crowd and their support. So does Bryan accept Bray Wyatt’s challenge? “Yes!”

Bray Wyatt appears on the video screen. Wyatt says that if Bryan goes through with this match, then Bryan will be changed. The lights turn red, and The Fiend emerges from the ring mat. Bryan is dragged down under the ring. The Fiend struggles and pulls handfuls of hair up from under the ring where Bryan is.

Show Impressions
This was an okay show. Seeing the returns of Sheamus, Alexa, and Elias was fun, the Tag match was pretty good, and the story with Wyatt and Bryan was entertaining. Most of the rest of the show was just kind of okay though.

Match of the Night
New Day vs Nakamura & Sheamus
This really kind of wins by default tonight, but it was still a pretty good match.
