Match 1
Deadly Draw Semifinal Match
Lil’ Swole & Big Swole vs Nightmare Sisters w/ Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Allie pins Lil’ Swole after an inverted facelock elbow drop (and a distraction from Britt Baker), The Nightmare Sisters advance to the finals
Time: 8:23

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. The Nightmare Sisters did well to start the match, and Brandi in particular got a lot of offense. As the match went on, Big and Lil’ Swole isolated Allie and looked like they were headed to a victory, but Britt Baker made her presence known at ringside. Her distraction led directly to a finish that felt rather sudden. I can’t say I’m happy with the result of this match, but the action was okay.

Match 2
Deadly Draw Semifinal Match
Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs Ivelisse & Diamanté
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Diamanté pins Tay Conti after an assisted sliced bread, Diamanté and Ivelisse advance to the finals
Time: 7:01

Match Thoughts
Good match. This was pretty competitive, though the momentum swung heavily in both directions throughout the match. Tay Conti did well early in the match, but Anna Jay got isolated and dominated when she tagged in. Ivelisse and Diamanté worked very well as a team, and that proved to be the biggest difference maker in the match. I’d like to see a lot more of everyone in this match.

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes the Nightmare Sisters. Brandi again takes full credit for their victory before Allie corrects her. Brandi then excises herself and Allie so they can go do some “influencing.”

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes Ivelisse & Diamanté. They say that they need to win the tournament for their people.

Show Impressions
This was a pretty good show. I can’t say I’m super surprised with the teams that made it to the finals, but I think it can be a good match. Really though, I hope the biggest thing that comes out of this is that some of the women they brought in for this stick around and become part of the roster.

Match of the Night
Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs Ivelisse & Diamanté
I’m thinking this might end up being better than the final match, but we’ll see.
