Original Air Date: November 26, 2018
Event Date: November 26, 2018 (aired live)
Commentary: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Renee Young
Ring Announcer: Jojo
Already in the ring are Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Lio Rush. Corbin says people are gross for eating Thanksgiving food. He says carbs are gross, and he and the men in the ring don’t eat garbage like that. The men in the ring then say what they are thankful for. McIntyre is thankful for the beating he, Lashley , and Corbin gave to Braun Strowman last week.
Corbin says we won’t be seeing Strowman on RAW in a long time, then he shows a video of Strowman addressing his injury. Strowman says he’ll be back at 100%, and what he’s going through right now will be nothing compared to what he’ll do to Corbin, Lashley, and McIntyre when he gets back.
In the ring, Corbin says that his match with Strowman at TLC is still on, so when he wins by forfeit, he will be the permanent GM of RAW. He states that the locker room better start being nice to him, because he’s going to remember who supported him when he has all the power. As Corbin talks, the lights go out in the arena.
A guitar is strummed as the lights come back on. Elias is sitting on the stage. Elias thinks anyone would be better GM than Baron Corbin. Lio Rush could do better, even if it broke child labor laws. Drake Maverick peed his pants, but even he would do a better job. But Elias isn’t here to deal with Corbin, he’s here to deal with Lashely. Elias has a song for Bobby. It’s about how much Lashley sucks. Elias finishes his song then heads to the ring.
Bobby Lashley w/ Lio Rush, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin vs Elias
(referee: Rod Zapata)
Result: Bobby Lashley wins via pinfall after a No DQ beating from everyone around the ring.
Time: 10:16 (1 break; 1 restart)
This was an okay match that devolved into a complete beating after Corbin changed the match to No DQ. It wasn’t super entertaining, but it did boost Elias’ interest as a good guy.
Baron Corbin fires some guy. Alexa Bliss walks up and tells Corbin that he’s doing a great job. Bliss says she’ll do anything to help him as GM-elect. Corbin asks Bliss to oversee the entire women’s division.
Clips of the feud between Rollins and Ambrose.
In a recording from a doctor’s office, Dean Ambrose says he’ll be at RAW next week. Tonight, he doesn’t want to catch something from the vermin in Milwaukee.
Lucha House Rules Match
Lucha House Party vs The Revival
(referee: Chad Patton)
Result: Lince Dorado pins Scott Dawson after a shooting star press
This was fun. Completely unfair and silly, but fun. Lucha House Party was non-stop and did a whole lot of stuff in two and a half minutes.
A promo for Lars Sullivan.
Nia Jax and Tamina head to the ring. Nia gloats about concussing Becky Lynch. She also talks about how Ronda Rousey isn’t as good as she used to be. Then she mocks Rousey. Rousey comes out and heads to the ring.
Rousey says she came out for a fight, and she invites Jax to participate. Jax says no. Tamina and Jax surround Rousey, so Natalya comes out and runs towards the ring. Before Natalya makes it to the ring, the Riott Squad attacks her. Rousey rushes to Natalya’s side as the Riott Squad heads up the ramp.
Drake Maverick (flanked by AoP), says fear makes cowards out of all of us. Tonight, AoP will make Roode and Gable feel that kind of fear.
Charly Caruso is joined by Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. They say the time for jokes s over. Tonight, they will win the tag titles and make the tag division glorious.
RAW Tag Title Match
AoP (RAW Tag Champs) w/ Drake Maverick vs Chad Gable & Bobby Roode
Result: Akam pins Bobby Roode after a tandem powerbomb and neckbreaker
Time: 5:24 (1 break)
Roode and Gable lost because Roode was more concerned about his robe being peed on than he was about winning the tag titles. That’s how good this match was.
Alexa Bliss tries to be cordial with Bayley and Sasha Banks, but Bayley and Sasha are skeptical. Bliss says she has given them time in the ring to address the crowd. Bayley and Sasha are still skeptical.
Finn Balor will not stand with Baron Corbin, no matter the repercussions.
Ember Moon w/ Curt Hawkins vs Alicia Fox w/ Jinder Mahal, The Singh Brothers
(referee: John Cone; watching in the back: Alexa Bliss)
Result: Ember Moon wins via pinfall after The Eclipse
This was very short. It was good while it lasted though.
Jinder Mahal w/ The Singh Brothers vs No Way Jose
(referee: Rod Zapata)
Result: Jinder Mahal wins via pinfall after The Khallas
This was unsurprising, but it was fine.
Seth Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says he hasn’t felt like himself lately, so he’s here to get back to doing what he does best. He’s a fighting champ, and he’s here to issue an open challenge. After a few seconds, Dolph Ziggler comes out to the stage. Ziggler says he’s happy for Rollins to go back to doing what he does best, and Rollins is best at losing to Dolph Ziggler.
Intercontinental Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins (IC Champ)
(referee: Chad Patton)
Result: Seth Rollins wins via pinfall after a superplex followed by a sit-out falcon arrow
Time: 13:36 (2 breaks)
Very good match. Thank goodness for Rollins and Ziggler. This was a much needed bright spot on a rough show. They had me beginning to believe that we would see a title change tonight. These two were great as always.
Alexa Bliss holds papers and talks at someone. She’s in business mode.
Alexa Bliss heads to the ring. As the head of the RAW women’s division, she has created a forum for the crowd to ask questions for Bayley and Sasha Banks to answer. Bayley and Sasha head to the ring.
Alexa Bliss scans the crowd for people with questions. She spots someone, so Charly Caruso holds the mic as the fan asks Bayley and Sasha what they would do to change the women’s division. Bayley is proud of the division, so she wouldn’t really change anything. Sasha ship Bliss back to SmackDown.
Bayley disagrees with Sasha. She wouldn’t send Bliss to SmackDown, she’d send her to Hell. With that, Dana Brooke, Mickie James, and Alicia Fox attack Bayley and Sasha from behind. Sasha and Bayley manage to fight off the attack and clear the ring.
Finn Balor vs Baron Corbin
(referee: Dan Engler)
Result: Drew McIntyre pins Finn Balor after a Claymore Kick
Corbin changed the rules. Again. After beating on Balor for most of the match. Drew McIntyre came out and won in a handicap match.
Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush come out to the ring and join in the beating of Finn Balor.
Wow. That was a tough watch. The only thing I really liked was the Rollins/Ziggler match. Pretty much everything else was either dumb or boring. Or both.
Match of the Night
IC Title Match
Another very good match from these two. Thankfully.
